Toyota - TV Theatre Sponsoring Idents

Toyota approached my team with what seemed like a straightforward task: creating a regular sponsorship ident for a national TV theatre show. However, we saw an opportunity to make it special. We suggested to our client that we could leverage their sponsorship of the TV theatre to create something unique, showcasing Toyota's engagement in this art form. Instead of a typical voiceover reading the 8-second sponsorship message, we casted a well-known theatre actor and asked him to perform the sentence theatrically in scenes we created. The sponsored series became a tremendous success. The lesson here is that opportunities can often be right in front of you; it's just a matter of identifying them and taking action.
